With our guaranteed rent scheme, Hackney landlords rent their property to City Borough Housing. We become the tenant, paying rent every month for as long as the agreement is in place, which could be anything from three to seven years. We’ll even pay the rent during void periods, or when tenants aren’t paying their rent.
When the agreement ends, we’ll return your property to you in the same condition it was at the beginning, taking fair wear and tear into account. So you won’t have to worry about renovation costs.
With City Borough Housing’s guaranteed rent scheme, Hackney landlords can take a hands-off role with their buy-to-let investment. For a minimum of three years, you can forget about tenant queries, everyday maintenance and repair requests and costs, and won’t have to chase rental payments every month.
We’ll take care of everything, from day-to-day maintenance and repairs to tenant queries. Quarterly inspections are also included, providing us the opportunity to ensure your property is being cared for in line with the tenancy agreement.
We will rent your property through our network of registered housing providers and local authorities across Hackney in East London. This means you will be helping to alleviate local housing problems.
For the length of our agreement, we will manage and cover the costs of all day-to-day repairs as reported by the tenants or identified during our quarterly property inspections.
Included are things such as tripped electrics, leaks, broken locks and general maintenance. Outdoor repairs, however, are not included. So anything to do with roofing, fencing or exterior walls, for example, will remain your responsibility.
All our Hackney landlords receive a fair rental value based on the type of property, its size and location.
